We came here for some late-night mookata and am so glad that this place is open until midnight, which is really convenient for us who want to have a late dinner. The pricing is quite affordable, considering that there were two of us and we went with the medium size, which was just right. It also had enough variety for us to have throughout the night, with a good selection of pork, liver, seafood, vegetables, and noodles. Our personal favourites were the pork belly and the marinated pork, which were incredibly tender and crispy when grilled. The stove uses charcoal, which gives it a very nice, aromatic flavour, and the heat remains consistently hot. The soup is also constantly refilled from a soup kettle on the side. There are 3 sauces for dipping. Overall, the restaurant is very spacious and has good ventilation. The owner and the staff were all very nice and friendly to us. We really enjoyed eating here and truly encourage others to come as well. For two people, we were quite full and spent about 500 Thai baht.

If you're looking for delicious Thai bbq with great services and quality meat, this is the place! The staff were very friendly and helped us choose what to get. The owner generously helped cook the meat and soup. The meat were well marinated and the sauces were the highlight of Thai bbq. The sauces were savory, spicy, a little sour, and sweet. There was a different sauce for meat and seafood and the owner kindly made us one of his signature sauces. Highly recommend this place if you want delicious Thai bbq with a local vibe! Kop khun ka to all the staff!!

I had a wonderful first visit here! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the food quality was impressive. While the menu is concise, it offers a variety of cooking methods for meats and seafood. Plus, the selection of sauces—seafood, suki, and BBQ—enhances the dining experience. The restaurant is spacious and perfect for a family outing. If you’re seeking an authentic Thai experience, this is definitely the place to go!

Authentic local charcoal mookata, ate for so many years and this is the first time the local taught us how they eat. Wonderful service, attentive and heed to your needs whenever or even when you didn’t know you need. Heat is not overwhelming and the restaurant is not hot at all despite that it’s open air. Breezy cooling with the big fans. Kids friendly sauce and my LO loves it. Most importantly, it’s not crowded. Great place for friends and family to gather and relax. Like the owner said, mookata is meant for party/ gathering times in Thailand. I think he’s right.

Came here to eat by chance when I saw the amount of reviews, especially with it being 5*! Was a little skeptical when we arrived and we were the only ones. But it was a Tuesday evening at 5pm so understandable. Food was amazing. Value for money for sure, the service was also very friendly and attentive. They changed the soup pot without us telling them - guess they noticed when it was pouring slowly. Meat was tender and fresh. Sauces were great, service was great, food was great, price was friendly and affordable. I can see why it’s 5* Great! Saved this place and will definitely come back.

The best meal of our entire trip was undoubtedly at Mukrathon, which masterfully combined BQQ and hotpot. What truly stood out was the incredibly tender, juicy meat paired with a special sauce that eclipsed even the priciest restaurants. I strongly recommend stopping by this hidden gem to sample their local cuisine, especially their succulent grilled pork belly. The exceptional service was the cherry on top - the staff were remarkably thoughtful and kind. Our gratitude again for your kindness after the accident; we're eagerly anticipating our return to Thailand
